Most Instagrammable places in Paris – France

Before we start showing you the most Instagram-worthy photo spots in Paris, you should know that access to these tourist attractions is quite expensive, mainly due to the cost of the entrance fees. Therefore, we highly recommend purchasing a pass to get unlimited access to all your favorite Paris attractions, especially if you’re on a budget. It is also the best way to save time without searching for tickets for every place you visit or waiting in the long queues.

1-Montmartre

Montmartre is undoubtedly the most charming neighbourhood to visit in Paris, with many famous photo spots. As it used to be a meeting place for artists, it retains that authenticity. It is a real treat to stroll around its narrow streets and take beautiful pictures. You will find many hidden gems, and in many cases, you can have Sacré Coeur as a backdrop. Famous Instagrammable Spots in Montmartre: “Le Consulat”, “La Maison Rose”, and the world-famous cabaret “Moulin Rouge”. If you are planning to visit Montmartre on the weekend, you should get there as early as possible, since it gets overcrowded during the day.

2-Sacré-Cœur

The second landmark of Paris after the Eiffel Tower is the Sacré Coeur. It is located at the top of Montmartre Hill, so you will need to climb the steps to reach the famous Church. The architecture and panoramic views will reward you. Take your time again to get lost in the streets around Sacré Coeur, as you can find amazing spots with a different perspective. However, there is a large number of pickpockets in front of the Church, but also in the surrounding area. For those setting up a tripod, always watch your belongings.

3-The Sinking House

The sinking house is another Instagrammable spot that immediately grabs your attention. You will find it a few meters from the Sacré Coeur. It is the perfect photographic illusion, as you can get stunning shots just by changing your angle. We highly recommend that you capture this postcard-like spot. If you are obsessed with classic Parisian architecture, this famous building will not disappoint you.

4-Eiffel Tower: Rue de l’ Université

This street is one of our favorite spots for Eiffel Tower photos. It is a different perspective of the world’s most famous tower and is one of the most Instagrammable places in Paris. So, to avoid the crowds and get empty photos, you should visit it before 9 am or late afternoon. You will need wide-angle shots to capture the Eiffel Tower and the charming building. In the surrounding area, you will find beautiful Instagrammable cafés for delicious French meals, such as  “Café Fleur“.

5-The Louvre

The Louvre Museum is home to the Mona Lisa painting, which is one of the most famous paintings in the world. Apart from its museum value, it is an architectural masterpiece. You will find many people trying to take the typical touristy “Louvre” photo. However, if you want to get a different capture of this photogenic museum, it is easy to find various angles. If you do not wish to take an inside tour of the museum, you can visit it from the outside. It is completely free. In case you want to take a tour, you can get your tickets preferably online to avoid the long queues. You can also come in the evening when the museum lights up. The ambiance is truly magical.

6-Eiffel Tower: Pont d’Iéna (at night)

When the Eiffel Tower lights up at night, it is one of the most magical things you can see in Europe. However, a truly spectacular moment is the Eiffel Tower sparkle show. It happens for 5 minutes every hour. The perfect spot to enjoy the show is the Pont d’Iéna, which offers an amazing full-length view of the tower. Another must-do thing in Paris is to take a Seine River cruise. You will enjoy some of the best views while exploring the city in a more fun way. You will also have the opportunity to have a romantic dinner, admiring the night lights of the Eiffel Tower.

It is one of the most iconic spots in Paris that should not be missing from your list. Not only the Arc de Triomphe itself, but also the Avenue des Champs-Elysées make it look like a movie setting. There are many different ways to capture it. Whatever you choose, we advise you to use long exposure for a more dramatic effect. The best time to photograph it is at sunrise or shortly after sunset when it lights up.

8-Eiffel Tower: The Trocadéro Garden

Even in winter, the Trocadéro Garden is one of the best spots for taking Eiffel Tower photos. It offers a view from a distance, and the result is very satisfying. It is also less crowded than the Place du  Trocadéro (“Trocadéro Square” in English). You can easily find the garden by going down the steps from the Trocadéro Square.

This is the most Instagrammable spot in Paris. You will have the most incredible view of the Eiffel Tower. Since it is a very touristy place, you should come as early as possible to capture it. If you visit it at sunrise, you will have the opportunity to enjoy and photograph it in soft light. In case you visit it with your other half, you will have a wonderful time.
